HAMDEN, Conn., May 3 (UPI) -- Republican Mitt Romney has caught up with U.S. President Obama in two key election states, while the president expanded his lead in a third, a poll indicates.
Romney, the former Massachusetts governor and presumptive GOP nominee, now leads Obama 44 percent to 43 percent in Florida and closed to within 2 points of Obama in Ohio, 44 percent to 42 percent, results from the Quinnipiac University Swing State Poll released Thursday indicated.
