SUV crashes in southern Arizona, 4 killed

CASA GRANDE, Ariz., May 2 (UPI) -- Four people were killed and seven were injured Wednesday when an SUV possibly carrying illegal immigrants crashed in Arizona, police said.

The Dodge Durango was being tailed by Border Patrol agents early Wednesday when the driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and crashed in the front yard of a home in Casa Grande.

Police told The Arizona Republic a second vehicle allegedly travelling with the Dodge was pulled over and its occupants were arrested.

The investigation continued Wednesday. It was not immediately revealed how fast the SUV had been traveling or if the Border Patrol agents were in pursuit.

Case Grande is located between Phoenix and Tucson along Interstate 10.
