BOSTON, April 29 (UPI) -- A Boston College sophomore was found dead in his dormitory room Saturday afternoon, a school administrator said.

Patrick Rombalski, vice president for student affairs, said in a letter posted on the Catholic college's Web site that police did not suspect foul play in the death of Michael Gannon of Lake Forest, Ill. The cause of death had not been determined, he said.

Gannon's sister, Michelle, who is a senior at the school, and her family were informed of his death, Rombalski said.

Boston College has nearly 15,000 students.
