WASHINGTON, April 24 (UPI) -- U.S. President Obama speaks at two college campuses Tuesday to urge Congress to prevent student loan interest rates from increasing, the White House said.
The daily schedule also indicates Obama will:
-- Honor the 2012 National Teacher of the Year and finalists.
-- Leave the White House to travel to Chapel Hill, N.C., where he will urge Congress to keep interest interest rates on loans for about 7.4 million students from doubling in July.
-- Conduct an interview for "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" while at the University of North Carolina.
-- Travel to Boulder, Colo., where he will deliver remarks at the University of Colorado at Boulder on the student loan rate increase issue.
