TAMPA, Fla., April 5 (UPI) -- Former NBA player Loren Woods was released from jail after his arrest in Tampa, Fla., on charges of driving under the influence and bribery of a public servant.

Tampa police said Loren G. Woods, 33, was arrested about 4 a.m. Wednesday, The Tampa Tribune reported.

Woods, a second-round draft pick by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2001, was released Wednesday after posting $2,500 bail.
