Three family members killed, son arrested

WALLER, Texas, March 21 (UPI) -- A 19-year-old suburban Houston resident was captured after a day-long manhunt, accused of murdering his parents and brother, authorities said.

An arrest warrant was issued for Trey Sesler Tuesday after the bodies of his parents, Lawton and Rhonda Sesler, and his 26-year-old brother Mark Sesler, were found in their Waller, Texas, home, each with fatal gunshot wounds that appeared to have come from a high-powered rifle, police said.

"This was a scene that had a lot of violence. The house was ransacked," Waller County Sheriff Glenn Smith said.

Trey Sesler was arrested Tuesday in nearby Magnolia by Texas Rangers, federal marshals and Brazoria County SWAT officers as he sat in his car, the Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.

"It's a sigh of relief," said Waller Police Chief Phil Rehak, adding police believed the alleged gunman might have had a high-powered weapon, and possibly body armor, with him.
