Terror convict indicted in hit man case

RALEIGH, Va., Feb. 22 (UPI) -- A North Carolina man convicted on terrorism charges last fall has been indicted on new charges he conspired to hire a hit man to behead three witnesses.

A federal grand jury Tuesday indicted Hysen Sherifi, his brother Shkumbin Sherifi and friend Nevine Aly Elshiekh on nine counts. Authorities allege the three worked on the murder-for-hire plot in December and January.
