PERRIS VALLEY, Calif., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A San Diego skydiver took a deadly fall in an accident during a competition at Perris Valley Skydiving Center.
Sean Carey, 35, was in the midst of a solo maneuver when he hit the ground around 9 a.m. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:52 a.m., The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Carey's death is the 15th at the Perris skydiving facility since 2000, the Los Angeles Times reported.
