REDMOND, Wash., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Sky Metalwala, the missing 2-year-old from Redmond, Wash., who went missing on Nov. 6, has yet to be found, police say.

Volunteers gathered Saturday to continue the search for the missing boy. For the last month or so, there has been no news in the search.

Sky's mother, Julia Biryukova, told police Sky disappeared from her car, which she left stalled and unlocked on the side of the road for an hour while she walked to Bellevue to get gas. Police later found her car had plenty of gas and was in good working order, Seattlepi.com reported.

Biryukova had been locked in a bitter custody battle with her estranged husband Solomon Metalwala for some time around the time Sky vanished, the report said. Biryukova has accused Metalwala of abuse, and Metalwala told prosecutors Biryukova was mentally ill and suicidal. Metalwala even voluntarily submitted to a polygraph test to prove his allegations, the report said.

Anyone with information pertaining to Sky's whereabouts is urged to contact Bellevue police.
