PEMBROKE PINES, Fla., Feb. 18 (UPI) -- Investigators say they are trying to determine whether a Broward County, Fla., man arrested on 144 counts of child pornography had victims in the area.
Orville H. Bullitt, 44, was arrested Monday after investigators found him in possession of "hundreds" of images of child pornography. Police say further charges are likely as analysts examine the computers and hard drives seized from Bullitt's home during a search warrant.
Police are telling parents of any children that may have been in contact with Bullitt to contact authorities, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.
Bullitt was convicted of sexual molestation of a child in 1985, prior to the creation of a state sex offender registry. He was arrested in 2003 in Miami on two counts of sexual battery on a minor, but court records show the charges were dropped.
