Firefighters: Child porn hidden in ceiling

Jan. 19, 2012 at 1:51 AM

EAGLESWOOD, N.J., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- A New Jersey man was arrested after firefighters found a cache of child pornography concealed in a ceiling at his burning home, police said.

Gamal El-Zoghby, 75, of Eagleswood, faces charges of possession of child pornography, WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, reported. State police said he was released after being charged.

Investigators said firefighters from five departments were summoned to the blaze Tuesday. When they pulled down a wallboard ceiling to make sure the fire was not spreading behind it, the pornography stash fell to the floor, police said.

El-Zoghby, an architect, had designed his home in Eagleswood, a small community on Barnegat Bay in Ocean County.
