CHICAGO, Jan. 14 (UPI) -- A 65-year-old woman was arrested after being filmed by a "nanny cam" allegedly abusing twin infants earlier this week, Chicago Police said.
Alice Vesely was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a child, the Chicago Tribune reported.
The parents of the twins showed police video footage, filmed Monday, of Vesely physically abusing the 8-month-olds, police said.
The "nanny cam'' footage showed Vesely allegedly slapping, kicking, punching, smothering, grabbing, tossing, and recklessly lifting the twins by their arms and clothing, according to a police report.
A doctor suggested the parents install a video surveillance system after finding one child had suffered minor bruising, the report said.
