CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 13 (UPI) -- Investigators say they're looking for the burglar who broke into a North Carolina home and took 30 pairs of Nike Air Jordan shoes.

Bryant Toala, 22, said the shoes, which he had been collecting since middle school, are possibly worth more than $10,000. He said his matching baseball-type caps were also taken, WCNC-TV, Charlotte, N.C., reported.

"I was [expletive]," Toala said. "All that hard work to get them, getting in all those lines."

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said Toala's father was at work during the burglary. Police say they have no clue who took the shoes, but whoever it was, they came in through a bedroom window, WCNC-TV said Thursday.
