NEW YORK, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A 24-year-old woman said she was surprised to find she was referred to as "lady chinky eyes" on a receipt at a New York City Papa John's Pizza.

"I wasn't super angry about it," Minhee Cho said. "I [just] can't believe this happened in this day and age."

When Cho saw the receipt, she posted about it on Twitter, the New York Daily News reported.

"Hey @PapaJohns just FYI my name isn't 'lady chinky eyes,'" Cho tweeted with an image of the offensive receipt attached.

Papa John's tweeted Saturday that the employee had been fired.

The owner of the store, Ronald Johnson, said that he was shocked over the incident.

"It's just wrong," he said. "I was shocked and I was very, very upset about it."

Cho said she will probably never eat at Papa John's again.

"Some of the tweets I've gotten back are, 'Why are you going to Papa John's when you live in New York City?'" she said.
