ST. LOUIS, Dec. 28 (UPI) -- A Missouri court has ruled the parents of a woman who died at the mansion of Anheuser-Busch heir August Busch IV may join a wrongful death lawsuit.

The lawsuit was brought on behalf of Adrienne Martin's son. Martin's death at the mansion in Huntleigh in December 2010 was found to be the result of a drug overdose.

Busch's lawyers opposed allowing Martin's parents to join the suit, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported. A state appeals court reversed a lower court ruling Tuesday.

The judges said Christine Trampler of Ozark, Mo., and George Eby of Springfield, Mo., have an "absolute right" to be parties to the lawsuit.

Martin's ex-husband, Dr. Kevin Martin, had accepted a $1.5 million settlement on behalf of his 9-year-old son. A judge delayed accepting the settlement while Trampler and Eby appealed.

Busch's lawyer said he plans an appeal to the state Supreme Court.

Busch, 47, became chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch -- the company founded in the mid-19th century by Eberhard Anheuser and his son-in-law, Adolphus Busch -- in 2006. The company was acquired by InBev in 2008.
