At least 3 shot, killed, in Calif.

IRWINDALE, Calif., Dec. 16 (UPI) -- At least three people are dead after a gunman started shooting a rifle Friday at a Southern California Edison office in Irwindale, Calif., police said.

The gunman killed two employees of the utility and wounded two others at around 2 p.m. PST, before taking his own life, the Los Angeles Times reported.

Baldwin Hills (Calif.) Police Department Capt. Michael Taylor said the condition of the two wounded victims was not immediately known, the newspaper said.

Citing a source, the Times reported the shooter was an Edison employee who worked as a systems analyst in the building where the shooting occurred, and some of the victims were supervisors at the utility.
