Highway Patrol Lt. Bill Leeper said neither of the two people aboard the plane nor anyone on the ground was hurt, but traffic got backed up as people slowed to see the curious sight, the newspaper said.

Efforts were under way to remove the plane, which had been on a flight from Orlando to Jacksonville.
