PITTSBURGH, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Plaintiffs in a terrorism-related federal lawsuit have asked a Pittsburgh judge to force a son of Hamas' founder to turn over notes to his autobiography.

The plaintiffs are suing the Palestinian Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority for seven terrorist attacks in Israel in which they were injured or their relatives were killed, the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reported.

Mark Sokolow and 40 other plaintiffs also are seeking other documents from Mosab Hassan Yousef, a son of Hamas founder Hassan Yousef and a former member of Hamas who later agreed to become an undercover agent for Shin Bet, Israel's internal security agency, court documents state.

The plaintiffs also want to depose Mosab Hassan Yousef.

He has since converted to Christianity and has been granted political asylum in the United States. He is the author of the autobiography "Son of Hamas: A Gripping Account of Terror, Betrayal, Political Intrigue, and Unthinkable Choices."

The plaintiffs have sued the PLO and the PA in New York but filed their motion seeking the notes and other documents in Pittsburgh because they were able to serve the subpoena only after tracking the author down at a Nov. 4 book signing in Beaver Falls, Pa.
