SANFORD, Fla., Nov. 2 (UPI) -- All charges will be dropped against an anti-bullying Florida mother who refused to get off her daughter's school bus, her attorney said.

Laura Booker, 40, of Sanford was charged with trespassing and resisting arrest in April after complaining to the driver her daughter was being bullied, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

During a 15-minute exchange, captured by a security camera, the driver becomes confrontational and orders Booker off the bus.

When she refuses, police are called to remove her.

After deliberating nine hours last month, a six-member jury failed to reach a verdict in the case and Seminole County Judge Jerri Collins declared a mistrial.

Attorney Robert Trimble said prosecutors have now offered to drop the charges if Booker makes a public statement that she should have gotten off the bus when asked.

Assistant State Attorney Lisa Haba is expected to announce the deal at a hearing Thursday.
