HOUSTON, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- A Houston woman was charged with stalking after she allegedly called her ex-boyfriend 1,001 times in three months, police say.

Peter Main, 62, told police that his ex, Toni Jo Silvey, 49, called him 1,001 times and sent him 712 emails in the span of three months, beginning mid-June, The Houston Chronicle reported.

Main told police that he did not change his phone number or e-mail address because he is self-employed and "it would be detrimental to his business" if he did, the Chronicle reported.

Silvey also allegedly broke several windows of Main's home, first using a tire iron, then a 5-foot sword, the report said. Main claims Silvey also egged his home multiple times.

Police say Silvey started a blog in June under the persona "woundedpo eticsoul," where she detailed her relationship through her 2009 breakup and all of her post-breakup actions.

Silvey was arrested Tuesday on felony stalking charges and is being held in Harris County Jail on $25,000 bail.
