Booty Lounge bus booted from tailgate

DETROIT, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- The Booty Lounge bus that has been a tailgating fixture at Detroit Lions games since 2005 was ordered out of town before Monday night's game.

Bus operator Joe Parsons said Detroit police stopped a 2 p.m. Monday Night Football pregame party, scheduled to feature dancing by semi-dressed women, on the bus parked outside Bert's Warehouse Theater in Eastern Market, The Detroit News reported.

Police, who threatened to perform a liquor inspection, said the party, advertised on Facebook, had no permit. Police said they are keeping an eye out in case the bus returns.

"If they're in there and they have semi-dressed girls, or they're in there dancing nude or whatever, that's a violation. If we find illegal activities on the bus, we will confiscate the bus, and we will give the property owner, because he does possess a liquor license, a Michigan liquor license violation," Sgt. Charles Spruce told the newspaper.
