Virginia office of PETA vandalized

NORFOLK, Va., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said its Norfolk, Va., headquarters was vandalized by someone who dumped dead fish and crabs outside the building.

PETA employees also found fish guts smeared on the building's windows and doors Sunday, The (Norfolk) Virginian-Pilot reported.

A report was filed with the Norfolk police, PETA spokesman Adam Miller said, adding the organization was offering a $1,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
