Police: Mom hid drugs under baby's dress

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- A Port St. Lucie, Fla., mother was arrested for allegedly hiding drugs and used syringes under her baby daughter's dress.

Arrest reports say Deanna Marie Angelico, 31, and Michael G. Angelico, 23, were stopped in a vehicle by police in Port St. Lucie after witnesses reported seeing two people engaged in drug use, TCPalm.com reported.

Deanna Angelico allegedly hid drugs and used needles in her daughter's dress.

The mother was held at the St. Lucie County jail as of Sunday in lieu of an $8,000 bond. Michael Angelico was charged with drug possession and possession of drug equipment. He was released from custody Sunday on $5,500 bond.

The arrest reports do not state what type of drugs or how much were found.
