TRENTON, N.J., Sept. 26 (UPI) -- New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie set out on a three-state tour Monday, with a speech at the Reagan Library in California and fundraisers on tap, aides said. His trip to Missouri, California and Louisiana is part of a fundraising effort on behalf of the New Jersey Republican Party for this fall's legislative campaigns, The (Newark) Star-Ledger reported.

After attending fundraisers in Missouri State Monday and Tuesday, Christie -- who has consistently denied he is considering a 2012 presidential run -- travels to California, where he will speak at the Reagan Library at the invitation of former first lady Nancy Reagan, The Star-Ledger said.
He also will attend three fundraisers while in California, all to benefit the New Jersey Republican Party.
On Thursday, Christie heads to Baton Rouge, La., to attend a rally with Republican Gov. Bobby Jindal and a fundraiser to benefit a committee Jindal created to help elect GOP lawmakers and local officials.
New Jersey and Louisiana hold elections in odd-numbered years. Jindal is up for re-election next month.
