LOS ANGELES, Sept. 13 (UPI) -- Wildlife management officials say they're trying to catch a pack of coyotes that has moved into a vacant home in a Los Angeles suburb, officials said.
The coyotes will be euthanized once they've been trapped, the Glendale (Calif.) News-Press reported Monday.
Traps are being set this week to catch the coyotes that have been spotted roaming in and out of a burned-out house on Brockmont Drive in North Glendale, the newspaper said. Neighbors are worried the coyotes could become dangerous to humans.
Ken Pellman, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Agricultural Commissioner/Weights and Measures, said the coyotes can't be returned to the wild because they've become too used to being around humans and easy food sources.
