STATESVILLE, N.C., Aug. 11 (UPI) -- Elisa Baker, the North Carolina woman charged with killing her stepdaughter, will not face federal drug charges until at least November, a judge has ruled.
At a hearing Wednesday, the judge scheduled a new hearing Nov. 7 in Statesville, N.C., on the drug charges, the Charlotte Observer reported. Baker is charged with peddling a mix of prescription painkillers and an anti-anxiety drug between 2006 and 2010 and the case had been scheduled to move forward in September.
