Wife allegedly pushed husband from window

TULSA, Okla., June 28 (UPI) -- A young pregnant Oklahoma woman has been charged with killing her husband by pushing him out of a 25th-floor window.

Amber Michelle Hilberling, 19, was arraigned Monday on charges of second-degree murder and first-degree manslaughter, the Tulsa World reported. Prosecutors said they do not believe the killing was premeditated.

Joshua Blaine Hilberling, 23, died June 7. He hit the roof of a parking garage 17 stories below the window at the University Club Apartments.

Sgt. Dave Walker of the Tulsa Police Homicide Unit said Amber Hilberling told witnesses she pushed her husband.

The couple had a history of violent fights. On May 10, Joshua Hilberling filed for a protection order saying his wife had "busted" his head with a floor lamp, but the case was dismissed two weeks later when neither he nor his wife showed up for a court hearing.

At Monday's hearing, a judge allowed Amber Hilberling to remain free on bail with conditions that include GPS monitoring, staying away from her husband's family and remaining in the Tulsa area.

Walker said she was seven months pregnant at the time of the killing.
