WASHINGTON, June 3 (UPI) -- President Obama will discuss the auto industry and its economic importance during a visit to a Chrysler Group's plant in Toledo Friday, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Tour the Chrysler Group's Toledo Supplier Park and speak about the economic importance of the auto industry and its resurgence to the community and consequences had Chrysler been allowed to fail.
