Prodigy, 21, about to become doctor
ORLANDO, Fla., June 2 (UPI) -- The estranged daughter of actor Billy Bob Thornton faces sentencing in July for aggravated manslaughter of a child, the Florida state attorney's office said.
Amanda Brumfield was convicted last week on the aggravated manslaughter charge, and was found not guilty on first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse charges in the death of her best friend's daughter in 2008, the Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday.
Brumfield, 32, claimed the death of 1-year-old Olivia Madison Garcia was an accident.
