Robin Leigh Pagoria, 45, who allegedly sent the videos to a boyfriend she met on a fetish Web site, was charged Thursday with aggravated child abuse and production, promotion and possession of child pornography, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Two children, described only as girls between the ages of 10 and 18, described multiple spanking sessions in graphic detail, an arrest report said.
Investigators said the Polk County deputy recorded the beatings on her cellphone and uploaded them to the Internet for her online boyfriend to watch.
Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called Pagoria's alleged behavior "outrageous."
Judd, known for his well-publicized focus on sexual predators, said no one should be more aware of that focus than his own employees.
"She's seen us walk hundreds of them into the Polk County Jail," Judd said.
Judd said his office reviewed the psychological and polygraph tests from when Pagoria, a 22-year Marine veteran, was hired, and they were clear.
"We do extensive background investigations on anyone we hire," Judd said.
Deputies say Pagoria later admitted to having a lifelong spanking fetish.
It was not clear how or why Pagoria had access to the spanking victims, officials said, but added it was not through her employment with the Sheriff's Office.
