WASHINGTON, May 13 (UPI) -- Navy SEALs' tiny helmet cameras recorded all of the Osama bin Laden raid and show little resistance, officials say.
All 25 SEALs wore the cameras, CBS News reported Thursday.
The footage shows the only combat took place in the compound's guest house, where a courier opened fire and was swiftly killed. No one in the main building was even armed although weapons were on hand.
The SEALs first saw bin Laden when he came out onto a landing, fired at him and missed. The first SEAL in the bedroom pulled bin Laden's daughters aside.
When the second SEAL entered, a bin Laden wife rushed forward or was pushed by her husband. The American pushed her out of the way and shot the al-Qaida chief in the chest. A third shot him in the head.
The co-chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Rep. C.A. Ruppersberger, D-Md., saw the bin Laden photos at CIA headquarters Thursday and said: "There are just a couple body shots. He was like, in a white undershirt and a tan robe."
The government says data seized from the compound contain the names of many previously unknown operatives and bin Laden's instructions for an attack on U.S. trains on Sept. 11, 2011.
