SEATTLE, May 10 (UPI) -- A Seattle pastor, musician and former foster parent has acknowledged molesting three boys, investigators say.
Timothy Dampier, 34, was charged Monday with molesting three boys and raping one, Seattlepi.com reported. He was being held in lieu of $250,000 bail.
Investigators say Dampier was involved with many religious and other organizations that help children, including the Boys and Girls Clubs. They expect there are many more victims.
Senior Deputy Prosecutor Lisa Johnson said Dampier appeared to target "vulnerable populations."
"The defendant has admitted to inappropriate touching of three identified boys," she told the court. "Over the years, the defendant has associated and ingratiated himself with a number of programs that specifically cater to youths and organizations that have youth programs."
Dampier and his then-wife were licensed foster parents from 1999 to 2003, the Department of Social Services and Health said. Dampier stopped being a foster parent when the couple divorced.
