WASHINGTON, May 4 (UPI) -- U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., came to work Wednesday with a dislocated shoulder after slipping during his morning jog.

Jon Summers, a Reid spokesman, said the 71-year-old senator did not let rainy weather keep him from his regular exercise. But he fell after using a wet and slippery parked car for support during his run.

Reid arrived at work just after 10 a.m. EDT with his arm in a sling and a large bruise visible on his face. Summers said doctors at George Washington Hospital did not prescribe pain medication for the former boxer.
