MEMPHIS, April 15 (UPI) -- A lunchbox or purse belonging to a missing Tennessee nursing student has been found, police said Friday.
Investigators said the search for Holly Bobo, 20, was centered on an area about 6 miles from her home in Darden in a rural area in western Tennessee, WREG-TV, Memphis, reported.
Bobo vanished Wednesday morning.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said she had been seen walking into the woods with a man but investigators later said the source of that report, Bobo's brother, subsequently said he had not seen her being dragged from her home, WREG-TV reported.
However, Bobo's brother said he saw her speaking with a man and later saw blood outside her home.
Police say her brother has been ruled out as a suspect, the TV station said.
Hundreds of volunteers joined the search Thursday. A reward for information has also grown to $25,000.
Bobo is a student at the Parsons campus of the University of Tennessee.
