ORLANDO, Fla., April 4 (UPI) -- Hackers grabbed millions of e-mail addresses when they broke into a Disney Destination marketing database, Disney officials in Florida said.

The hackers didn't penetrate Disney's computer system, but got into the system of its e-mail service provider, Espilon, the Orlando Sentinel reported.

Epsilon sent e-mails on behalf of Disney Destination notifying recipients their e-mail addresses had been pirated. It warned them to be careful in opening new messages.

Disney spokeswoman Zoraya Suarez said Disney is "disappointed" someone was able to get access to some of their guests' e-mail addresses.

Epsilon said it discovered the problem Wednesday and that the information stolen was limited to e-mail addresses or customer names.

Epsilon spokeswoman Jessica Simon refused to elaborate on the incident and said the company was cooperating with authorities conducting the investigation.

Epsilon's Web site said it works with more than 2,500 clients and sends 40 billion e-mails annually.

The company, which has more than 2,200 employees, has its U.S. offices in Irving, Texas.
