HARTFORD, Conn., March 11 (UPI) -- Connecticut prepared for more flooding Friday as Gov. Daniel Malloy reactivated the emergency response center.
The National Weather Service issued a flood warning in effect until 1:45 p.m. Small rivers and streams in northern Connecticut may overflow, the announcement warned.

West Hartford Public Works Director John Phillips said Friday morning there was no flooding "at this time," West Hartford Patch reported. He said the rain was less severe than on Monday when many basements were flooded.
Malloy held a conference call with state Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security officials Thursday night. The department advised towns and cities to review their emergency plans.
