DELRAY BEACH, Fla., March 5 (UPI) -- A medical examiner Saturday confirmed the body found in a duffel bag in a Florida canal is that of a 6-year-old girl, whose brother's body also has been found.
A Delray Police Department spokeswoman said in a statement the medical examiner positively identified the body as that of Ju'Tyra Allen. Her body was discovered not far from that of her half-brother, Jermaine McNeil, 10, whose body, found in another duffel bag, was identified Friday, The Palm Beach Post reported.
Authorities have said they also believe a corpse found in a garbage dump in West Palm Beach last August is the children's mother, Felicia Brown.
Police are holding Brown's former boyfriend, Clem Beauchamp, 34, on an unrelated federal charge. He has been named a suspect in the deaths of the children and their mother but has not been charged in that case, the Post said.
