KISSIMMEE, Fla., Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Two people died when their private airplane crashed in Kissimmee, Fla., as it was landing, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating, local officials said.

The aircraft is a Fouga CM-170 Magister, a two-seat jet trainer, the Sentinel said. The Magister, manufactured by the French company Air Fouga, made its first flight in 1952. Production ceased after Air Fouga was sold.
