Man killed after fall into dough mixer

NEW YORK, Jan. 24 (UPI) -- A worker at a Brooklyn, N.Y., tortilla factory was killed after falling into a dough mixer, authorities said.

The 22-year-old worker was crushed after falling into the waist-high machine early Monday at the Tortilleria Chinantla in Williamsburg, the New York Daily News reported.

A co-worker called 911, police said, but the unidentified worker could not be saved and was pronounced dead at the scene.

It was not clear how the accident happened, police said, adding there was no suspicion of foul play.
