Loughner's family stonewalling FBI

TUCSON, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- People inside the Tucson home of mass shooting suspect Jared Loughner refused to let FBI agents inside Monday, The Arizona Republic reported.

The newspaper said agents were seen banging on a plywood barricade about 12:25 p.m. and yelling "This is the FBI. Let us in."

The barricade was preventing access to the front porch of the home.

The newspaper said FBI agents went behind the home and could be heard talking to someone inside.

It wasn't clear why the family was keeping law enforcement officials out, the Republic said.

Loughner, 22, is charged in a weekend shooting spree that left six people, including a federal judge, dead and several others, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, D-Ariz., wounded.
