Adult video mogul makes offer to 'octomom'

LA HABRA, Calif., Dec. 31 (UPI) -- A producer of X-rated videos says he wants to save "octomom" Nadya Suleman from eviction by paying a past-due payment on her Los Angeles-area home.

Steven Hirsch, founder of Vivid Entertainment, is considering paying the $450,000 balloon payment due since October, Amer Haddadin, holder of the note on the home, says.

Haddadin said he spoke with Hirsch on Wednesday, the Orange County (Calif.) Register reported.

Suleman's attorney said he has not heard anything from either Haddadin or Vivid.

Jeff Czech said he considers it just another publicity stunt involving the mother of octuplets.

In the past two years, Hirsch has invited Suleman several times to perform in an adult video for as much as $1 million, and recently offered to pay her to host parties at the Adult Video News awards show Jan. 8 in Las Vegas, but she has refused.

"(Hirsch) thinks people are fascinated by her," Vivid spokeswoman Jacki Martin said.

In offering to pay off her balloon payment, he has no intention of "bullying her or using it as leverage," Martin said.

"He simply wants to talk to her," she said. "He said one of the things it would accomplish would be a face-to-face meeting with Nadya."
