103 dogs found in Nebraska home

CORTLAND, Neb., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Investigators say many of the 103 dogs found in a small house in Nebraska had health problems, including trouble walking and skin and eye diseases.

The dogs were discovered Tuesday in a one-story house in Cortland in southeast Nebraska, KETV, Omaha, reported. They were mostly smaller breeds, including Pekingese and Chihuahuas and were loose in the house.

The owner has been charged with animal neglect. She said she was rescuing the dogs.

Most of the dogs were brought to the Humane Society's Omaha shelter.
