Body of Northern Illinois student found?

DEKALB, Ill., Oct. 24 (UPI) -- Remains that may be those of a Northern Illinois University co-ed missing for 10 days turned up in a DeKalb park this weekend, police said.

Police Chief Bill Feithen told reporters Saturday night the condition of the body indicated it had been in the park since about Oct. 14 when 18-year-old Antinette "Toni" Keller disappeared.

Keller was last seen at her campus dorm where she told friends she was going for a walk in nearby Prairie Park, the Chicago Tribune said Sunday.

Feithen said personal items found at the scene were similar to Keller's belongings.

Police had searched the park several times previously before the remains were discovered.
