Three dead in I-84 rest-stop crash

WILLINGTON, Conn., Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Three people were killed and a fourth injured in a one-car rollover at a rest stop on Interstate 84 in Connecticut, state police said.

The sport-utility vehicle rolled while entering the rest area Sunday evening, the Hartford (Conn.) Courant reported.

Three people were thrown from the vehicle, police said.

Kyle Fedors, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene; Keith Devlin, 35, and Walter Dlugozima, 30, were flown by Life Star helicopter to St. Francis Hospital where they were later pronounced dead. The fourth occupant, 27-year-old Meggan Shafer, was flown to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries; her condition was unknown.
