Pakistan says U.S. drone attack kills five

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- A suspected U.S. drone airstrike in a Pakistani tribal area near the Afghan border Friday killed five people, Pakistani authorities said.

Two Pakistani intelligence officials say three missiles likely fired from an unmanned, remote-controlled U.S. aircraft hit a house in a village near Miramshah, the main town in North Waziristan, Dawn newspaper reported.
