Orlando police bust 15 in sex sting

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 16 (UPI) -- Fifteen men were caught in an Orlando, Fla., undercover sex-predator sting, the Polk County sheriff said.

Deputies arrested the suspects who allegedly went to a home thinking they were about to have sex with children, Orlando television station WFTV reported Monday.

Among those arrested was a coach for a Little League baseball team, the report said.

Many of those arrested had engaged in e-mails, chats and telephone calls with undercover detectives after responding to a Craigslist Internet ad posted by detectives posing as parents "seeking guidance."

"I can tell you it's an absolute shock when they walk up to the door with Skittles and condoms, expecting a 13-year-old girl and her mother, and find sheriff's deputies in a raid vest," said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

The men were charged with traveling to meet a minor for sex or related crimes, WFTV said.
