Jeb Bush 'not running for president'

LOUISVILLE, Ky., July 27 (UPI) -- Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said Tuesday in Kentucky he is "not running for president."

Bush told WHAS-11, Louisville, "I am not running for president" and also touted the Senate candidacy of Rand Paul, for whom Bush held a fundraiser Monday in Louisville.

Paul is "a good man, he's gonna be elected (to the) Senate, and hopefully, God willing, be part of the Republican majority in the Senate to stop this incredible expansion of government in our lives," Bush told the TV station.

Bush is in Kentucky to attend the National Conference of State Legislatures and speak about Florida's experience in education reform.
