HOUSTON, July 22 (UPI) -- BP, struggling with its oil blow-out in the Gulf of Mexico, has posted at least three Photoshopped pictures on its Web site, a blog reported Wednesday.

The company, once the doctoring was pointed out, said the latest questionable picture would be removed from its site, The Washington Post reported. The alterations to the photograph were pointed out by the Gawker Web site.

The photograph, taken from inside a helicopter, purports to show the fleet of ships around the damaged gulf oil well. But the photographer used Photoshop to make changes so the picture would look like it was taken from the air when the helicopter was actually sitting on the deck of a ship.

Americablog caught doctoring on two other BP photos. In both, as with the latest Photoshop incident, the changes were not major but are an embarrassment to BP at a time when the company's honesty is being questioned, the Post said.

Scott Dean, a BP spokesman, said the company would put all three photographs in both original and doctored versions on its Flickr site.
