Two dead, 10 injured in Chicago shootings

CHICAGO, July 6 (UPI) -- Two people died and 10 others were injured in several shootings reported on Chicago's South and West sides Monday into early Tuesday, police said.

One of the victims who died was 18 years old and the other was 21, the Chicago Tribune reported Tuesday

Police said some of the injured were shot in the foot, elbow, leg, hip and arm.

Officials said no one was in custody for any of the shootings, one of which was a drive-by shooting.
