Obama to deliver HS commencement address

WASHINGTON, Mich., June 7 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama travels to Kalamazoo, Mich., Monday to deliver the commencement address to Kalamazoo Central High School, the White House said.

Kalamazoo Central was this year's Race to the Top High School Commencement Challenge winner, the White House said in a release.

Before leaving for Michigan, Obama was to meet with Cabinet members to discuss the administration's response to the BP oil spill and will be briefed by U.S. Coast Guard Adm. Thad Allen, national incident commander.
